By me 12/2021
I wish you loved me, like black coffee, like an endless sea, like it wasn’t wrong, like a love song… That’s unconditional… natural and strong, and in your arms, I’d belong. I wish you’d see, and hear my plea my tears are tea, my heart is strung, broke and twisted, trampled then flung, words you've wrung, from my tongue. I wish you’d hold me, libation free, so we can agree, no more pot-valor. So tired from crying, words stilled by your gaze, my eyes are drying, There’s no more trying…
I started writing this to express how I felt about the direction Wuhlu (donkey; bench; funnel; spirit), and I were headed… poetry is an old passion of mine. I hope to be able to share more, so I created a new area where my poetry will post to. I love hearing thoughts and opinions, so please comment/like if you enjoy my work.
